HOW TO BE SAVED

The Roman Road to Salvation

God says that all are sinners-Romans 3:23

"For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God."

God tells us the reason all are sinners-Romans 5:12

"Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin, and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned."

God tells us the result of sin-Romans 6:23

"For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord."

God tells us of his concern for sinners-Romans 5:8

"But God commendeth His love toward us in that, while we were yet sinners Christ died for us."

God’s way of Salvation is made plain-Romans 10:9, 10:13

"That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God raised Him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation….For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved."

Would you like to be saved today? Would you pray to be saved today?

Here is a suggested prayer. Despite all it's power, prayer is simply you speaking to God. Just pray this prayer:

Dear Heavenly Father,

I realize that I am a sinner and I do believe that our Lord Jesus Christ is the Divine, Begotten Son of God, Who died on the Cross for my sins and arose again as the Bible teaches. And believing this I want you, Lord Jesus, to forgive me of all my sins, to come into my heart and save me and give me eternal life. I trust You now as my Saviour, I receive You into my heart. Thank You, Lord Jesus, for saving me. Amen.

If you  prayed  the above prayer and in faith asked Christ into your heart, on the authority of God's unchanging Word you are saved today. You don't have to live with uncertainy.  As Southern Baptists we believe that when you are saved you should follow the Lord in baptism and unite with a local church.  Please contact the pastor, Brother Gary Redwine, 697–3101, or e-mail him at glredwine@yahoo.com and let him visit with you and help you to further understand your salvation experience.

 God Bless You.
